The committee said in its Covid-19 daily update that the decision was made to limit the celebrations to only one day after taking into account the current pandemic situation in the state. “The Sarawak Islamic Council has agreed to amend its standard operating procedures (SOP) for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, which is, open house visits will be allowed only on the first day and for close family members,” said SDMC.
